Mushing antennas
Harnessing a four-legged engine in front of you is great fun for everyone involved. By following the basic rules and using the appropriate equipment, you can ride relatively fast and far (not quite at the same time, but speed is relative, isn't it?). You can harness anything: people, bicycles, footbikes, tricycles, quadricycles (go-karts), sleds, cross-country skis.
One of the devices for safer riding on a footbike or bicycle is an antenna. It is attached to the frame, fork neck, handlebars, stem, and so on. There are countless solutions. Each has its pros and cons. Similarly, if the dog keeps pulling, nothing can happen.
Because we always have our own opinion, we present our solution. We were inspired by Pavel Ženíšek's antenna—a lightweight plastic strap attached with a screw to the frame weld. However, most manufacturers do not have this on their frames, so on our third attempt, we came up with our own method of attaching it to the neck of the fork. The lightweight design does not interfere with riding and training without a dog, while also being easily modular and affordable.
